Logging In
To open ScanIt Vehicles:
- Open the app on your PC or go to the web page in your browser.
- Type in the username and password your admin gave you.
- Pick your store if your group has more than one site.
- You'll land on the main screen. It shows your current stock and recent activity.
Tip: If you have not received your login credentials, contact your dealership's IT administrator or reach out to IPS support at 810-695-9332.
Getting Around
The main screen gives you fast access to every tool. Here's how to find your way:
- Main Menu — At the top or side of the screen. Links to the six modules: GPS Tracking, Check-In, Stickers, Invoices, Transfers, and Inventory.
- Search Bar — Look up any vehicle by stock number, VIN, or year/make/model. Results show right away.
- Recent Activity — See the latest scans, check-ins, and moves so you can pick up where you left off.
- Reports — Open color-coded reports and export any of them to Excel.
Your Data at a Glance
- 18-month history — Every scan, check-in, and move is saved for 18 months. Full audit trail.
- Nightly backups — Your data backs up every night on its own. Nothing is ever lost.
- DMS link — ScanIt Vehicles ties to your DMS. Both systems stay in sync without double entry.
